Brewers sweep Pirates


MILWAUKEE (WSAU-TSN) The Brewers continued their domination of the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Ryan Braun had a home run and four RBI and Jonathan Lucroy went deep and drove in three to lead Milwaukee over Pittsburgh, 9-6, and complete a three-game series sweep.

Zack Greinke (2-1) earned the win despite allowing five runs on six hits and a walk in five innings. He also struck out five in the Brewers' sixth win in eight games.

Kevin Correia (5-4) took the loss in four innings of work, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks in the Pirates' fifth consecutive loss.

The Brewers head to the west coast for an unusual two-city four-game road trip. Monday night they play the Los Angeles Dodgers. Game coverage begins at 8:35pm on AM-550 FM-99.9 WSAU.
