GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - Firefighters in Green Bay battled a fire at an apartment building for the third time in the past few months Sunday.
The call goes out around 11:30 a.m. to 1413 South Norwood Avenue.
Upon arrival, officials saw heavy smoke and flames. Everyone inside the complex were evacuated by the time crews arrived.
Battalion Chief Paul Arvey said the fire was brought under control in approximately 15 minutes. Three units of the 10 unit apartment were heavily damaged by fire.
The cause and origin are under investigation by GBFD Fire Marshals. Several residents were displaced and assisted by Red Cross.
No injuries were reported and no damage estimate is available.
