CLARK COUNTY, Wis. (WHBL) - Two people were killed and a third person was hospitalized after an overnight house fire in Clark County in central Wisconsin. The state Fire Marshal has been called to help local investigators determine the cause. The blaze was reported just after midnight in the village of Curtiss, about four miles west of Abbotsford. Sheriff’s deputies said the house was engulfed in flames when they and fire-fighters arrived. Three people were taken to a Marshfield hospital where two died. The survivor’s condition was not immediately released.
