BESSEMER, Mich. (WTAQ) - A ski resort in Michigan's Upper Peninsula has been severely damaged by fire. 

The blaze broke out Thursday morning in the main lodge of the Big Powderhorn Mountain Resort near Bessemer. 

Authorities say no injuries have been reported, but the building appears to be a total loss. 

The state fire marshal's office is investigating the cause of the fire.
