It Was An Exciting Finish Last Night At The Sugar Bowl Where Ohio State Hung On To Beat Arkansas 31-To-26

Ohio State intercepted a Ryan Mallett pass at the Buckeyes' 17-yard line with just under a minute to play and OSU held on for a 31-to-26 win over Arkansas in the Sugar Bowl. The sixth-ranked Buckeyes built a 31-13 lead late in the third quarter before the Razorbacks nearly pulled off the comeback.

For Ohio State, it was its first win over an SEC team in a bowl game in 10 all-time tries and the Buckeyes finish the season at 12-and-1. Mallett, who transferred from Michigan after his freshman season when Rich Rodriguez arrived, threw for 277 yards and two touchdowns but had many of his passes dropped by the Razorback receivers as Arkansas wraps up with a 10-and-3 record
