Packers Win Super Bowl

Arlington, TX. (WHBL-Learfield) - Aaron Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers to their fourth Super Bowl title, throwing for 304 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Rodgers earned the MVP award, completing 24-of-39 passes without an interception while hitting Greg Jennings for two touchdowns and Jordy Nelson for one. Winning their first title in 14 years, the Packers scored 21 of their points after three Pittsburgh turnovers, including Nick Collins' 37-yard interception return for a touchdown in the first quarter. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, chasing his third ring, threw two interceptions in the first half, but recovered to complete 25-of-40 passes for 263 yards and two scores. Still, Pittsburgh was unable to shake off the turnovers and failed in its bid for a seventh Super Bowl title.
