GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - Green Bay Packers fans will soon crowd the sidewalks as they welcome the Super Bowl XLV Champions back to Titletown.
Team officials estimate the charter flight from Dallas will touch down at Austin Straubel Airport at approximately 1:40 p.m. Monday.
The bus will take the team down Packerland Drive.
The Green Bay Police Department says fans will not be allowed to gather in the southbound lanes of Packerland South and Cormier Road.
Fans can still gather on the north side of Hazelwood from Packerland to Wood Lane and then at Lambeau.
The Green Bay Police Department has a few tips for anyone wanting to attend the motorcade celebration.
*Drive slowly and carefully while approaching the motorcade area, there will likely be thousands of fans around.
*Fans are encouraged to watch the welcome home event at Lambeau Field, because of the large size of the parking lot. The second choice would be on Packerland Drive between Cormier and Hazelwood.
*Stay out of traffic lanes until the roads are actually closed off.
*Dress warm and bring along lawn chairs or other portable seating.
