ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) - Around $3,000 dollars in fake Packers tickets and counterfeit money has been exchanged in the past couple home games. That’s has Ashwaubenon Public Safety warning Packers fans buyer beware. Lt. Jody Crocker says they have been investigating an increasing number of incidents of people getting scammed. There have been more instances of people being scammed by e-tickets.Crocker says they will have increased undercover officers at Sunday's Bears game. They have been looking into a group of 4 to 8 men, described as being from out of town scalping fake tickets or buying the real deal with counterfeit money. Packers spokesman Aaron Popkey says they have always encouraged fans buying from a second hand party to buy from a licensed broker. There is a licensed ticket scalper zone for fans looking to buy tickets on game day, which across the street from the Lambeau Field Oneida Entrance.
