FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ) - A man with a history of sexually abusing horses has been found competent to stand trial after being arrested in a Fond du Lac County barn last year.

48-year-old Sterling Rachwal faces a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct.

Rachwal told police he went to the barn to re-offend, but stopped himself before he did. 

He has been in a mental health facility since February 2010. Trial is set for Nov. 9.
