NEW YORK, NY (WTAQ) - The Green Bay Packers used their second round pick in the NFL Draft on Kentucky wide receiver Randall Cobb.
The 5'11", 186 pound junior was selected as an All-American First Team as the All Purpose Player. Also selected to the All-SEC First Team.
Extremely versatile and athletic player...Early entry candidate for the draft who finished junior year with over 1,000 receiving yards and seven touchdowns on 84 receptions...Also rushed for 424 yards and five touchdowns.
Can also play quarterback, but is likely best suited to be a receiver...A very elusive and explosive player that can hurt the opposition in more ways than one.
Soft hands and great ball skills...Has exceptional speed and can create space against the defense.
Does not have great height and size for the NFL...Will need to bulk up to with stand the punishment dished out at the next level...Needs to fine tune his route running.
