Pittsburgh, Pa (WSAU) The Milwaukee Brewers will try again tonight to open their series at Pittsburgh. The two teams were rained out last evening, and a make-up date has not been announced. The scheduled starters for that game – Shaun Marcum for the Brewers and Kevin Correia for Pittsburgh – will go tonight. Despite the rain, the Brewers did get some work in. Starter Zack Greinke threw a simulated batting practice at an indoor cage, as he recovers from his left rib injuries. Manager Ron Roenicke said Greinke threw the ball well in a 25-pitch session. Also, right-fielder Corey Hart took about 35 swings in the indoor cage. He rejoined the Brewers this week as he recovers from a strained left oblique muscle suffered at Spring Training. He said he swung without feeling tight for the first time since the injury. Hart expects to take batting practice with his teammates this week, and then start a minor league rehab assignment as early as Sunday.
