Green Bay, WI. (WSAU) The Green Bay Packers shored up their injured safety position on Sunday aquiring Anthonsy Smith from Jacksonville for a seventh round draft pick in 2011. Smith may be familiar to Packer fans. He was with the Packers in training camp in 2009 and was part of the final cutdown.
The team has been dealing with injuries to Atari Bigby, Moragn Burnett & Derrick Martin. Bigby is eligible to be activated from the injured list this week.
Smith is 6' 1" , 200 pounds and started three games for Jacksonville this season with 1 interception.
