GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - A frustrating afternoon for Green Bay Packers fans, as the team could not make up for some mistakes and run enough plays, in a 23-20 overtime loss to the Miami Dolphins at Lambeau Field.
Dolphins kicker Dan Carpenter's 3rd field goal at 3:45 in the extra frame was the difference. Each team had a possession, but both Miami and the Packers went 3-and-out in overtime, before the winning score.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished the day 18-for-33, 313 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception and was sacked 5 times. Miami linebacker Cameron Wake gave the Packers fits, accounting for 3 of those sacks.
The Packers lost their 2nd consecutive overtime game after last week's loss in Washington. Wide receiver Greg Jennings caught 6 passes for 133 yards and a TD, becoming the first Packers this year to achieve 100 yards receiving in a game.
