Packers may lose Barnett

Linebacker Nick Barnett could miss the rest of the season with a wrist injury suffered last Sunday against Detroit.  He'll seek a second opinion on Friday but if surgery is required, Barnett will be out for the year.  He was one of 9 players who did not practice Wednesday because of injury.  That list included safety Nick Collins (knee), Brandon Chillar (shoulder) and Mark Tauscher (shoulder).  Head coach Mike McCarthy is hoping Collins will heal quickly, after the team lost rookie safety Morgan Burnett to a knee injury last week.  Chillar is almost certainly going to miss a second straight game and Tauscher has apprently made improvement through mid-week.

Bucks cut 3

The Milwaukee Bucks have released forward Keith "Tiny" Gallon, a high school teammate of Brandon Jennings, along with guards Tory Jackson and Billy Rush.  The Bucks face the Pistons in Detroit Friday before hosting the Charlotte Bobcats at the Resch Center in Green Bay on Saturday night.
