Green Bay, WI (WSAU) Green Bay Packers' rookie safety Morgan Burnett is out for the season with a torn ACL suffered in the game on Sunday. Mike McCarthy said today that Burnett apparently played a few series with the injury. Burnett was a third round draft choice from georgia tech and was thrust into the starting lineup after the in jury to Atari Bigby. Bigby is on the PUP list and won't be eligible to return until the October 24th game vs Minnesota at the earliest. Look for Derrick Martin to fill in until then although the Packers could also use Charlie Peprah who was inactive on Sunday and Anthony Levine who is on the practice squad.
