Green Bay Packers Survive Lions 28-26

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - In a game that was way too close for fans' liking, the Green Bay Packers overcame 4 turnovers and shoddy defense to squeak by the Detroit Lions 28-26 Sunday at Lambeau Field.

The stat sheet showed a massive Lions advantage in plays, time of possession and total yards. But 13 penalties and 3 Detroit turnovers helped limit their drives in the 1st half.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers finished the day 12-of-17 for 181 yards with 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions. On the other side, Lions quarterback Shaun Hill finished 34-of-54 for 331 yards with 2 TD's and 2 INT's, along with 53 yards rushing.

Catch a full recap of the game with Mark Daniels and Nick Vitrano on the 5th Quarter Monday at 5 p.m. exclusively on 97.5/1360 NewsTalk WTAQ.
