MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. (WTAQ) - It was the kind of win that Green Bay Packers fans hoped for since Brett Favre signed with the Minnesota Vikings before last season.
Favre struggled finishing 17-of-38 for 208 yards, no touchdowns and one interception, and was pressured all day long as the Packers (7-3) trounced their bitter NFC North division rivals 31-3 at the Metrodome in Minneapolis Sunday.
While number 4 in purple had problems, number 12 in green and gold had nearly everything go right for him. Aaron Rodgers finished the day 22-of-31 for 301 yards and 4 TD's.
Three of those touchdown tosses went to Greg Jennings, who caught 7 passes on the day for 152 yards. The Vikings (3-7) in all had two turnovers Sunday, in what some may see as the swan song for both Favre and head coach Brad Childress.
