EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. (WTAQ) - It may not have been pretty, but the Green Bay Packers defense and mistake-free football helped ground a lethargic New York Jets team 9-0 Sunday at the New Meadowlands Stadium.
The Jets (5-2) came off their bye week looking anemic on offense, as quarterback Mark Sanchez struggled, their receivers dropped multiple passes and turned the ball over 3 times.
Mason Crosby's 3 field goals were all the offense the Packers (5-3) needed on this day. The green and gold defense did a great job holding the Jets vaunted running attack in check.
