DE PERE, Wis. (WTAQ) - Five people living inside a two-family house in De Pere escape a fire unharmed. It happened at 459 Saint Bernard Drive around 4:30 a.m.
Fire crews credit working smoke detectors for everyone getting out safely. They say the fire appears to have started in the kitchen on the second floor.
