GRAND CHUTE, Wis. (WTAQ) - Officials in Grand Chute are cleaning up Friday after an SUV knocked over a gas pump and caught fire.
It happened at the Kwik Trip on West Northland Avenue around 12:30 a.m.
When firefighters arrived, the blaze was spreading from the engine compartment into the vehicle. The driver of the car was able to escape and wasn't hurt.
Gas station employees had to be evacuated. DNR and Emergency Management officials are working to ensure any spill runoff doesn't get into storm sewers. The gas station has re-opened.
