Green Bay, Wis. (WHBL-Learfield) - Five Packers have been selected to the N-F-C’s initial roster for the Pro Bowl in Hawaii – the most since 2007. Linebacker Clay Matthews, safety Nick Collins, and corner Charles Woodson were chosen as starters. Receiver Greg Jennings and left tackle Chad Clifton were picked as reserves. Aaron Rodgers was left out, as Michael Vick of Philadelphia and Drew Brees of New Orleans were chosen as the N-F-C’s quarterbacks. Woodson was named to his seventh Pro Bowl, and Collins his third. Clifton and Matthews were picked for the second time each. Jennings is going to his first Pro Bowl. The Packers had three defensive starters for the first time since 1967. Rodgers was named as a “first alternate,” along with corner Tramon Williams. Other alternatives are receiver Donald Driver, guard Josh Sitton, nose tackle B-J Raji, and linebacker A-J Hawk.
