GREEN BAY, Wis. (WTAQ) - The Green Bay Packers, who seemingly need to avoid mis-steps for the rest of this season in order to make the playoffs, overcame a few early en route to a 34-16 win over the San Francisco 49ers at Lambeau Field Sunday.
Quarterback Aaron Rodgers was fairly sharp, especially when it came to drawing the 49ers (4-8) offsides. Rodgers finished the day 21-of-30 for 298 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Greg Jennings caught 6 balls for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns. Donald Driver had the Packers' (8-4) biggest highlight of the day with his 61 yard TD catch.
James Starks made his Packers debut, completing his day with 73 yards on 18 carries. The Packers defense stiffened when needed, sacking 49ers quarterback Troy Smith 4 times.
