Packers Outlast Seattle 27-24

SEATTLE, Wash. (WTAQ) - The Packers offense was a bright spot during their second preseason game, knocking off the Seattle Seahawks 27-24 at Qwest Field Saturday.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers continued his sharp play, going 8-for-11 for 116 yards and 2 TD's during the first two series.

Other bright spots on the offensive side included tight end Jermichael Finley with 4 catches for 48 yards and a TD. Running back Brandon Jackson got 80 yards on 11 carries, including two major carries late in the 4th quarter, the latter being the winning 12 yard TD run.

However, the secondary and special teams did not play well. Three turnovers also hampered the green and gold.

For a complete recap of the game, tune in to the 5th Quarter with Mark Daniels and Nick Vitrano Monday at 5 p.m. on 97.5/1360 NewsTalk WTAQ.
