DETROIT -- Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson surprising the Ford Field crowd by playing through serious injuries was only good enough for a strong start. The Lions recovered a fumble on the opening drive before taking a 7-0 lead on a Matthew Stafford TD pass to Johnson.
From there the Lions held close headed into the 2nd half down only 13-7 but 4 interceptions by Stafford and a fumble by Casey Fitzsimmons doomed the Lions as Donald Driver caught 7 passes for 142 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Stafford finished the game 20-43 for 213 yards playing through a seperated AC joint that he suffered Sunday against the Browns.
The Lions fall to 2-9 on the season with the loss while the Packers improve to 7-4 with the win.
Next week the Lions travel to Cincinnati at 1PM.
