(WNFL, SOURCE METRO) – Major League Baseball released its 60-game schedule late yesterday with the Milwaukee Brewers learning they are opening on the road.
The Brewers will open Friday night, July 24th at Wrigley Field against the Chicago Cubs. After three games there, the Brewers will head to Pittsburgh for three games against the Pirates.
Following a day off, Milwaukee will host St. Louis in its home opener on Friday, July 31st.
Off the field, the Brewers announced that two of their players have tested positive for the coronavirus. Manager Craig Counsell revealed Monday that shortstop Luis Urias and pitcher Angel Perdomo both tested positive before the intake process last week. Both are asymptomatic. MLB says 31 players tested positive last week.
