This is definitely one of those cases where it was NEVER too late to do the right thing.
--Back in 1998, when Margot Riphagen was 16, she had a party at her family's house in Palos Heights, Illinois. A few kids crashed it, it got out of control, and someone stole four GOLD RINGS.
--Now, fifteen years later, an envelope showed up at the Riphagens' house with an anonymous letter . . . and the four rings. The letter APOLOGIZED for taking the rings and was signed, quote, "A dumb kid who wants to right a wrong."
--Margot says her family is thrilled they got the rings back, mostly for their sentimental value.
