5 Foods You Should AVOID at a Fast Food Restaurant

A user on the website Reddit took a survey of fast food workers and asked them to name any item on their restaurant's menu they'd NEVER order . . . and why. The survey received a TON of responses from fast food employees around the country.  Here's the list of the top 5 foods you should avoid...Hope you're not hungry.

-- Chicken Nuggets.  Chicken nuggets are on every fast food menu and they're always a crowd favorite. However, some of the most disgusting stories focused on these "tasty" nuggets. One of the more repulsive acedotes came from a guy who  said he once left out a bag of 100 nuggets for too long, and they ended up MELTING INTO A LIQUID!!!...Thirsty anyone??

-- Chili.  Everyone loves a hot cup of chili...right? Well, turns out the meat comes from hamburgers that were left on the grill for too long.  The well over-done patties are then put in the fridge, and later chopped up and put into the chili. YUM.

--Ice.  Employees from several different fast food chains all agreed that the drink machines are tough to clean and keep mold-free . . . and when they clean, their priorities are the more visible areas. In other words, have a soda...hold the ice.

--Anything at a sub shop that looks questionable...  Employees working at sub shops all seemed to agree that the quality of your food depends on the restaurant. Not all shops are the same.  If the food colors don't look right, if the floor's a mess, if it smells . . . you're at a bad sub shop. (aka...RUN AWAY!) There was also an overwhelming response to especially STAY AWAY from the tuna, seafood salad, and chicken at those dirty sub shops.

--Grilled Chicken.  Workers from many different burger shops and sub shops alike, responded to the survey saying they've seen the grilled chicken breasts at their shops slathered in margarine to keep from sticking... or defrosted in vats of hot water...

Next time you're looking for a quick bite to eat...have this list in mind!
