I understand that when you're on an online dating site, it can be hard to keep track of all the people you're talking to.  And I understand that people in finance LOVE spreadsheets, and want to use them for everything.

But putting your Match.com prospects into an insanely detailed spreadsheet is just CREEPY.  And EMAILING the spreadsheet to ONE OF YOUR DATES is just plain stupid.

That's exactly what a finance associate in New York City named Dave did.  He kept an Excel spreadsheet with detailed information on his dates . . . all the times they communicated, his impressions of their photos, comments on the dates, and more.

Then he went on a date with a girl named Arielle . . . and slipped up and mentioned the spreadsheet.  She asked if she could see it, and for some reason he said yes, and idiotically forwarded it to her.

She sent it to ALL OF HER FRIENDS.  And they sent it out to EVERYONE ELSE.

Honestly, Dave got REALLY lucky.  He didn't give any girl a rating on looks lower than a seven out of 10.  The most negative thing he says is one girl is "jappy" . . . and most of his comments are pretty complimentary.

There's basically nothing scandalous other than a comment that he drunkenly hooked up with one of them after a friend's birthday back on January 21st . . . but he hasn't seen her since.

Yesterday, Dave talked to the website Jezebel.com about the spreadsheet being leaked.  He said it was, quote, "the worst day of his life" and sending the spreadsheet out was, quote, "an extraordinarily dumb decision."

He also says he's done using Match.com and he's bitter at Arielle for forwarding the spreadsheet out.  Quote, "She seemed like a very sweet girl."   Scroll way down below to see the spreadsheets!
