Mattel is pretty upset that their Hot Wheels cars have fallen so low in sales - and they blame MOMS.

That's right, Mattel says it's the fault of mothers across the country for not buying Hot Wheels cars for their children.

Apparently, executives think the female parent just doesn't "get" how to play cars with their sons.

** Moms have responded - and they think the Mattel executive is way off mark, out of line, and sexist.
