I read this on daily.co.uk
It may be the nation's financial capital but New York City does not boast the greatest concentration of rich folks in America.
According to the census, that honor goes to the Bridgeport-Stamford-Norwalk corridor along the Connecticut coast of Long Island Sound where nearly one-in-five households have an income of at least $191,469 - or the top five-percent.
The hedge fund haven of Bridgeport gets the title of the wealthiest high income households in the nation.
Closely following the Connecticut area is the San Jose-Sunnyvale-Santa Clara region of northern California and the Washington D.C. metro areas with 15.0 percent and 14.1 percent of households in the country's top earners.
