Camden, New Jersey is now the poorest city in the US according to Census data.
The 2011 data show that 42.5% of the people live below the poverty line in Camden… the most in the country.
Reading, Pennsylvania topped the list in 2010 but it fell to sixth in 2011.

Ntionwide household income in the U.S. has dropped as the economy continues to struggle - with census data showing decrease of 1.3 per cent from $51,144 in 2010 to $50,502 in 2011.
