This story is crazy! What a dedicated friend. My cats would never do this. They barely have the energy to wake up when I get home.

A German Shepherd named Capitan ran away from home after its owner died in 2006. The man's widow assumed that the dog had been ran over and died until they recently visited the man's grave.

They found Capitan settled on a spot at the grave, which is even more surprising since they had never taken the dog there before.

After they came back to visit another day, the dog followed them home, but then went back to the cemetery when it started to get dark.

The cemetery director said that the dog just turned up one day on its own, and wandered around until he eventually found the tomb of his master.

The cemetery now feeds and cares for the dog.
