The Oscars tapped 'Family Guy' and 'Ted' creator Seth MacFarlane to be the host in 2013.

After the producers made the announcement, Seth said: "My two thoughts upon hearing the news were, 1) I will do my utmost to live up to the high standards set forth by my predecessors and 2) I hope they don't find out I hosted the Charlie Sheen Roast."

The Academy Awards will air live on Feb. 24 on ABC.
