A man in Byron Center, Michigan completed a triathlon carrying his 13-year-old daughter.
She has cerebral palsy. She cannot walk or talk. He carried her across land and through water so that she could complete the event too.
The 39-year-old man completed the 0.3-mile swim, 12.4-mile bike ride and 3.1-mile run with his daughter.
For the swimming portion, he tugged his daughter through the water in a kayak and then pulled her behind him in a cart as he cycled. He ran the last leg pushing her in a buggy.
He says he wants to complete the events with his daughter because she adores being outside.
Wow! Just wow. This made me feel so good.
