I hate abbreviations.  It's gotten out of control with texting and twitter and facebook.  I refuse to do it.  I never say u for you.  I don't put idk for I don't know.  And I hate lol for Ha ha ha.  In fact...just to be sarcastic about the over use of lol these days, sometimes I use elle oh elle.  Just cause.  I've noticed people say lol when it's not really a laughing out loud moment.  Example, "I don't think I've ever been this tired.lol"  People type it like breathing almost.  It's just become habit.

Anyways....here's a place I like abbreviations.  It's just a state, but in the context of the headline it kinda comes out wrong.
