Dogs are more work than kids.  That's why I don't have a dog.  Two kids is easier than one dog.  I have a friend who can't do anything for over 6 hours because of the dog.  It's gotta be left out, or fed, or loved....always something.  I know you can get a sitter or take them to a kennel...but come on, it's a dog.  I'm so cheap I never go out when I have the kids so I don't have to pay a sitter.  Why would I pay someone to take care of my dog? 

Cats are easy.  I know they're not as rewarding...but I don't need much.  A cat is kinda like a FWB.  They come around every once in awhile, get a little lovin...then leave without texting afterwards.  PERFECT!!!!(notice I did not say purr-fect....oops, I did it.  Damnit.)
