There was a meteor shower in Western Russia earlier this morning, and reports of several explosions from meteors hitting the ground.  There a few crazy videos of the impact online too.  This is what it sounded like from a city near where one meteor hit.  The city is Chelyabinsk, almost a thousand miles east of Moscow.
