I don't want to give you nightmares if you're a dog owner, but imagine this: You just took your dog for a walk, you get back to your apartment, you get in an elevator, and the doors close. Then as soon as it starts moving, you realize the dog is still connected to the leash you're holding, but it's standing OUTSIDE the elevator. Well, that's exactly what happened to some idiot who wasn't paying attention, and the security camera footage from the elevator AND the hallway is up on YouTube. Don't worry, the dog's okay. But it got lifted about seven feet off the ground when the elevator went up. Then apparently something on the leash snapped . . . otherwise it would have broken its neck or choked to death. Meanwhile, the guy in the elevator got his head slammed into the door when he didn't let go of the leash. Plus, he had no idea if he'd just killed his dog or not.
