It didn't come as much of a surprise, Clay Matthews has already been ruled out of Sunday's big divisional game in Detroit.  Matthews suffered a pulled hamstring against the Arizona Cardinals and Mike McCarthy said the following day it would be a couple of weeks.  The bye week was beneficial, but that was only one.  Free agent rookie Dezmon Moses will start in his place with Frank Zombo expected to get snaps as well.  Matthews is third in the league in sacks with 9 on the season.  Greg Jennings is back in town but also out after undergoing surgery to repair a sports hernia.  He's expected to be cleared to start running perhaps by late next week.  Charles Woodson is recovering ahead of schedule according to McCarthy, but he'll miss another game because of the broken collarbone. Mike Neal was the only other player not able to practice today because of an ankle sprain.  Listed as limited were Donald Driver (thumb), John Kuhn (knee), Terrell Manning (shoulder), Jordy Nelson (hamstring, foot), Andrew Quarless (knee), D.J. Williams (hamstring),  Sam Shields (ankle)and Ryan Taylor (chest).  T.J. Lang with elbow and wrist issues was a full participant and Jerrel Worthy returned full time after missing the Arizona game with a concussion.

Ryan Taylor was fined $21,000.00 by the NFL for his block on Randall Cobb's first quarter punt return against Arizona.  The peel back block leveled the Cardinals player who had to be helped off the field.  No flag was thrown on the play but the league determined Taylor took a dangerous angle on the block. 

You knew it was coming but I still winced when it came.   Aaron Rodgers regularly meets with reporters around his locker on Wednesday's and after fielding several questions about the game, a reporter asked if he had any comment on reports that surfaced on the internet over the weekend that he had become engaged.   Rodgers was ready for it, declaring his personal life is personal and he will not address it.   He then turned to a Packer PR representative and said, "You won the bet."
