Mike McCarthy was in an unusually jovial mood when he met the media Monday to look back on the 9-0 victory over the New York Jets at the Meadowlands. He cracked a few jokes about Tim Masthay's big day, welcomed negative coverage of the team if it inspires the club like it did leading into the New York game, but he also cautioned his team to keep the nose to the grindstone with an angry 1-6 Dallas Cowboys team coming to town next Sunday night. On the medical front, defensive back Pat Lee has an ankle injury that might force him to miss this game. Donald Driver continues to struggle with a pair of quadricep injuries, a bruise and a pull. Driver will likely stay off the practice field until late in the week and give it a try but he could be shelved until through the bye. The deadline for activating the players coming off the physically unable to perform list (Al Harris, Atari Bigby, James Starks) is Monday morning. The Packers might wait on all three until then to give them an opportunity to get in nearly a full month of practice before suiting up for the first time against the Vikings on November 21. Here's comments from both coaches and players on Monday following the Jets win:
