The practice week for the Packers' grand finale against the Chicago Bears is underway. It's a simple win and get in senario for the Pack. The first injury report of the week confirmed Korey Hall (knee) and Atari Bigby (groin) are not going to play. Cullen Jenkins (calf), Marshall Newhouse (back) and Frank Zombo (knee) didn't practice Wednesday. Players who were limited included Chad Clifton (knees), Nick Collins (ribs), Clay Matthews (shin), Sam Shields (knee) and Scott Wells (back). Full participants on the injury report were Ryan Pickett (ankle), Erik Walden (quad) and Charles Woodson (toe).
Greg Jennings talked about how honored he is to be recognized by peers and fans alike with his first election to the Pro Bowl. Jennings was told by his position coach Jimmy Robinson on Tuesday. He leads the team with 72 catches for 1168 yards, second in the NFC behind only Roddy White and 12 touchdowns. Jennings is joined by Clifton, Matthews, Woodson and Collins on the NFC squad.
Aaron Rodgers didn't sound miffed about not making it this year, finishing 4th behind Drew Brees, Michael Vick and Matt Ryan. Rodgers said team goals come first and a few more wins would have landed a few more Packers on the team. Aaron did pick up hardware today however, being named the NFC Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. He passed for a regular season career high 404 yards with 4 touchdowns against the Giants.
