Dear Lauri: Last night I dreamed I was singing for a group of people in a large building almost like a courthouse. I finished my show (I'm not a singer in the awake world) and was leaving the building, smiling at people that I walked by. All of a sudden I started floating toward to ceiling very slowly.  I reached down for someone to help me and the guy who grabbed my hand started floating too. Everyone that tried to pull us down started floating up with us. We started floating toward the guy's office because he said he had rope and plants in big heavy pots there so we could try to anchor ourselves, and then I woke up!   - Katherine 45, Chicago, IL

Lauri: Finishing the show suggests you have completed a performance somewhere in your waking life. What part of your life is now over and that you feel you performed well in? Floating towards the ceiling may mean you now have high hopes for something new... but that your inner mind is worried you may be getting your hopes too high OR perhaps now that this one element of your life is over you aren't feeling as certain or sure-footed in your next venture. The plants, I believe, are a good sign. They may represent the seeds you have planted as far as any new projects or ventures. I think your dream is showing you that they have what it takes to grow... so hang in there!

Katherine replies: I lost my job in April and I do feel like I did a great job when I was there. Prior to that I left Harpo where I accomplished so many goals. And yes, every day I wake up hopeful about several new things that I would like to start or have started but they aren't taking off as fast as I would like them to so I worry if they ever will!
