Well last night marked another milestone.  The bridesmaid dresses are officially ordered.  I know this is something most bridesmaids dread doing.  They don't want to spend the money on a dress they wear once.  Usually they think the dresses are hideous.  I get it- but you still gotta do it.  Luckily my bridesmaids are awesome and great sports!

I did my dress picking a little differently.  Since we had to look for dresses in summer- it was IMPOSSIBLE to get all of my bridesmaids schedules to line up to look for dresses.  I also knew the dress I wanted them to wear.  I had worn one similar in a wedding I stood up in and it flattered EVERYONE.  We had all sizes in our wedding party, from a size 4 to a pregnant girl- so I was confident everyone would feel comfortable.  I also am going with black dresses, again, it will flatter everyone.  So I sent all of the girls two different dresses, similar styles to vote on.  I figured that would be easier than everyone giving up a Saturday to go looking for one dress.  Luckily all of the girls voted on the same dress.  I then gave them 6 weeks to order the dresses, and anyone who wanted to go get measured, I would go with them.  Well last night, I grabbed dinner with two of my bridesmaids, and ordered the last of the dresses :)  I am so excited.  My flower girl is also wearing the same dress.  She is going to look adorable- and all of my girls are going to be gorgeous!  Anyways- here is the dress.  They will be all black with a hot pink sash (aka watermelon.)  Hope you guys like!
