I saw these rules on theknot.com....I agree wholeheartedly with them!  Some of these are ridiculous!

1.I'm thinking weekend in Vegas for my bachelorette!

-seriously?  I know it sounds like an AWESOMELY fun time, but come on, how much more dough do these poor girls have to spend???

2. My wedding, my wedding, my wedding. How are y-- wait, that reminds me of another thing...about my wedding.

-The world doesn't revolve around you.  While you are busy planning a wedding, they are busy planning something just as important- their lives.  I feel super uncomfortable talking about my wedding because some people genuinely want to hear about it, while others are just asking to be polite.  There is a fine line between these two types of people, and it is a very hard line to read....so you know, I just blog about it :)

3. Surprise! I just picked out your (crazy-expensive) bridesmaid dress. Now all you have to do is pay for it.

-Again- how much do these girls gotta spend?  I think everyone realizes bridesmaid dresses aren't cheap, but I guarantee the girls will appreciate you being cost conscious when picking out the dresses, and if you let them have a say in the price, even better.

4. Make sure you don't look too good. I don't want you upstaging me.

-This statement just makes me sick.

5.Let's all get tans/Botox/personal trainers before the wedding.

-Trust me- these girls know their flaws.  They know how to be pretty.  They don't need you pointing them out.  They also know what they want to pay for and what they don't want to.  Trust that they will do everything they can to make sure they are pretty for your big day.

6.Here's my wedding guest list of 100+; please invite them all to the shower you throw me.

-It is not my bridesmaids jobs to pay for my third aunt to have a nice brunch. 

7.Next six Saturdays: wedding factory at my place. Mandatory attendance, BT-dubs.

-yes I would like one Saturday with my bridesmaids to help with stuff, heck that is kind of why I asked them to be bridesmaids, I can't do it by myself.  BUT I am only allowing myself one Saturday.

8.I know you're a double D, but I'm loving this sheer, backless bridesmaid dress.

- you want your bridesmaids to feel pretty, don't you?

9. It's MY day!

Plain and simple- stop being obnoxious!
