This wedding planning process has taught me I am a bit of a scatterbrain!  I like to think it is one of my "quirks."  Michael doesn't seem to agree with me.  I looked up the process of getting a marriage license and realized I didn't have my birth certificate.  No clue where that is...and first of all, does anyone know- do I have to get a marriage license from Outagamie County, or can I just pop into the Brown County Courthouse one day and get one?  I feel like people don't tell you all of the little organizatinal things you need to do before you get married!

So when I couldn't find my birth certificate I thought hey maybe my passport will work instead.  I went to go look for my passport, and lo and behold, that has gone missing as well.  I don't know about you, but we must have a mouse or something in our apartment that insists on stealing things from me.. and only me.

After about two or three days of tearing the apartment apart, and trying to do it discreetly so Michael wouldn't give me a stern lecture on how I need to be more organized and take more pride in my things, I found my passport! (I am sure Fox World Travel is breathing a sigh of relief as well, because I am sure they would have been the one on the receiving end of my panicked phone call as I am asking what the heck I am supposed to do about a lost passport?!?!?)

Anyways- here is my question- can I use my passport instead of a birth certificate?  Or is it time to call the parents and see if they can fix it?  They always seem to fix everything :)  Help me out friends!
