Well we had our last game this week...the Sharks are now officailly over. It was kind of sad, having to say goodbye to everyone (and in a rush because it was thunder and lightening.) I can say I learned a TON this summer- especially about patience! I had such a great time working with these kids. They reminded me what sports is about, just having fun, and truly enjoying sports for what they are, regardless of your skill level. I hope all of these kids stick with it- they will all learn so much from it! I know soccer helped me stay out of a lot of trouble when I was growing up. I know, I know, you are probably thinking, yeah right katie, we know you were a trouble maker, but seriously nothing is further from the truth. It is college, you know when I quit playing soccer, that I started causing trouble :) If you don't believe me, ask my dad, the deacon would never lie about something like that. He knows baby jesus is watching! Here is a team picture below, also a picture of my nephew, me, and my sister- aka my co coach! Hopefully see you all next year Sharks!
