Since I haven't talked about Aaron Rodgers in a while and he seems to be all over the place lately I figure I might as well go on a little Rodgers Rant. 

First of all I would like to say what a class act he once again proved he was yesterday.  When Matt Flynn threw that first touchdown, I am not sure who was more excited, Rodgers, or Flynn.  It was great to see Rodgers on the sideline, being supportive, and genuinely happy for his team.  Unlike some other quarterback we once knew.  (ahem Dallas, when he sat in the lockerroom refusing to come out and support Rodgers.)

Next, on to the whole Aaron Rodgers/Erin Andrews rumor.  A lot of people have emailed me asking if this is true.  To be honest with you, I have no idea whatsoever.  This was also Aaron Rodgers response to the media- “I don’t think its anybody’s business, whether I am dating, not dating, who that person is, what they do, I really don’t feel that’s anybody’s business,” Rodgers said. “That’s my personal life. My public life is scrutinized as much as possible by people, positively or negatively”.

Ok, after being around Rodgers and asking him these personal questions on a regular basis- this does not seem like him.  One thing I have learned from "interviewing" (actually Maino asking questions and me sitting in the corner red as can be refusing to make eye contact, and then finally working up the nerve to ask him one question.) him is that he never denies anything with us.  When I had asked him about Hilary from lady antebellum he pretended I didn't ask the question and made a joke.  When I asked him about the grapefruit heiress, his response was yeah she had nice grapefruits.  So I feel like this response from Rodgers is very out of character, which makes me wonder about the source of this rumor. 

First of all their are some things that are completely just false about the reports.  My biggest issue is the claimed Erin had lunch at The Cheesecake Factory.  Um, when did Green Bay get one of those???  I believe it was Cheesecake Heaven (which Aaron has been spotted at often.)  Second, she was in town to interview Clay Matthews, not to see Aaron.  To me if the reporter can't even get those small details correct, how can I believe the rest of the story.  Here are some other reasons I feel this story is false.  I checked Erin Andrews twitter and she was only in Green Bay for a little over 24 hours.  I don't know about you, but if I had a long distance relationship and my job sent me to my boyfriends city of residence I would do my best to make sure I stayed there for longer than a 24 hour period, especially if he wasn't even practicing due to injury.  Secondly, when I am on Facebook and Aaron Rodgers sneezes it is reported.  One of my friends posted that he was at Best Buy the other day, another that he was at such and such restaurant.  I find it hard to believe that Aaron Rodgers and Erin Andrews could go out in public together and not a single person noticed it.  Man alive, when Kirk from the Bachelorette brought Ali to town and supposedly ate at Chives, everybody and their mother knew about it!

Whether or not it is true, Rodgers is somewhat right.  I will be the first one to admit I am guilty of it, but the guy does deserve a little privacy.  Just think of how hard it is in the beginning of a relationship.  You know that whole, what are we stage?  Is he my boyfriend, is he just a friend- now imagine throwing the media in there forcing you to put labels on yourselves...so until they choose to be seen together I will leave the topic alone.  So that is a warning to Aaron- once you two are photographed together it is fair game :)
