Allright, so everybody has been bugging me about this Buffalo Chicken Dip recipe that we mentioned on air about a week ago. I had first found this when purusing the shelves of festival food and I figured since we eat it at my place for pretty much every Packer game I should see if I can duplicate the recipe. I did some research and my taste testers agree that it is pretty accurate- so if you don't want to cook or have the time, definitely go pick it up at Festival Foods. Anyways- it was super easy. I just threw all of the ingredients together into my crockpot the night before. Here we go-
2 8 oz packages of cream cheese
10 oz of hot sauce
8 oz ranch dressing
2 cups of shredded chicken (cooked)
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
Like I said I put it in the crockpot the night before, but it really did only take about two hours to cook (or melt together persay). I added about a cup and a half of cheese to mix and used the rest of the cheese on the top. You then serve with tortilla chips and celery. This definitely serves a bunch of people. We had 8 people and it seemed to barely make a dent. Someone else also made a suggestion of running to Buffalo Wild Wings and trying there different flavors- I wonder what the garlic parmesan would taste like- let me know if anyone tries it :)
