Hey everybody i just want to say thanks for tuning in on weekday mornings on WIXX for Murphy, Katie and myself. Starting on Monday it will be Murphy, Katie and Nick Vitrano. I will be moving to the new morning show on The Drive 99.7 and 94.3....I can't tell you how great it has been to be a part of your mornings for the past 12 years or so...hope i made you laugh, made you mad, make you think, made your birthdays with my amazing singing voice.....etc etc..... i do know one thing.....you made my mornings by being passionate about just about every subject we talked about where you were on my side or katies...you also did some amazing things....you built a house for a disabled vet, you were responsible for over 11,000 pounds of supplies being shipped to iraq and afganistan...you kept a thriving birdhouse building company in business.....(orders still being accepted...) All in all, i couldn't have asked for anything more than to sit in a room with two of the greatest radio personalities you will ever find and broadcast to the greatest listeners in the U.S. of A. This is one time you can believe every word i'm saying....about time, right? -Maino
