Ok here we go....GAME ON.......i've been to the Kroc center four times since we first started talking about the challenge, the first three doing all cardio work on the bikes and treadmill. If you haven't been there to use those machines you should....even go on a tour...they are amazing...My favorite part....individual tv's!!!! In fact now that i don't have full cable tv i think i'm going to plan some of my workouts around my favorite shows.....nothing wrong with that right???? So anyway, my check in weight was 224 pounds...not a bad weight if you are 6-4...not a great weight if you are several...several several inches shorter...
So, started slow and it feels great, lost a pound and a half in the first week...might not sound like much, but i will take it.
Thursday i met with Kari, the personal trainer....nice person, very knowledgeable, but i have a built in animosity towards all personal trainers. the reason....they don't let you cheat. They stand there and pay attention to every rep you do or, as the case may be, don't do correctly. The one thing you really realize when you work with a trainer is how soon you would quit if they weren't there. Its kind of like that tough love sort of thing.....so anyway, the challenge has begun...good luck Lisa....2nd place really won't be all that bad for you.......ccccccccccccccccyaaaaaa at the Kroc!
